A boy was rushed to hospital in a helicopter after he fell from a roller coaster at a Pennsylvania theme park in the US.
The three-year-old was on a ride that did not require seat belts with his brother when he fell, a spokesperson for the Idlewild and SoakZone amusement park said.
The spokesperson added that he did not know if the roller coaster had malfunctioned.
The toddler, who was conscious after the fall, was airlifted to the Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.
The park has been closed while an investigation into the incident takes place.
On August 6, the roller coaster in question, the 'Rollo Coaster', passed an inspection by the state's Department of Agriculture.
The incident comes less than a week after a 10-year-old boy was decapitated at a Kansas water park.
